Pros

It is hard to come up with any. It's bleak.

Cons

The company has changed significantly, and working here has become increasingly difficult. After major layoffs and continued attrition, many remaining employees are carrying expanded workloads with less support, fewer experienced teammates, and unclear ownership across departments. Role expectations, compensation, and commission structures have also shifted in ways that have reduced earning potential. Commission changes for the year were not rolled out until the end of May, nearly five months into the year, which reflects a broader issue with planning, transparency, and accountability. Leadership often feels disconnected from both employees and customers. There does not seem to be a meaningful process for frontline feedback, and cross-functional work is frequently slowed by silos, unclear priorities, and top-down asks that do not reflect the realities of the work.

Don’t join - challenging, uncertain environment

Pros

Remote work & health benefits (no 401k match)

Cons

Employ can be a chaotic and challenging environment due to frequent organizational changes, including multiple re-orgs and recurring layoffs that can create uncertainty and impact morale. Job seekers should expect a fast-paced environment where priorities and direction may shift regularly as leadership works to evolve the company strategy. The new CEO appears to bring a strong startup mindset and focus on turning the business around, though the long-term impact remains to be seen. There has also been notable executive turnover, which has contributed to changing priorities and evolving visions over time. Adaptability and resilience are valuable traits here — if “pivot” and “re-org” happen to be on your office bingo card, you may have a head start. Additionally, annual bonus payouts do not happen so don’t expect these, so job seekers may want to view variable compensation as more of a “pleasant surprise if it happens” than a guaranteed part of total rewards.

Pros

None come to mind whatsoever.

Cons

Constant churn of leadership Directionless Goals are either nonexistent or unattainable Zero company culture Talented people are burnt out and no longer care about success Products are terrible. TRULY terrible. ICIMS and Ashby jump for joy when they find out employ is competing against them for a deal. Managers will expect you to go above and beyond for them without any hope for a pay increase or career growth. Town halls waste everyone’s time with lies and toxic positivity rather than addressing real issues. Zero signs of improvement despite CONSTANT change Senior leaders are being fired or quitting once they realize how awful things are They laid people off THE WEEK BEFORE CHRISTMAS. They could have easily waited until after the holidays. This was a cruel and frankly insane choice.
