It's a mess

Pros

Some ok benefits, legacy employees would still be fun to work with if they weren't all burned out

Cons

At this point we can't even keep a CEO anymore. The vast majority of positions have been filled in India, enabling hard-working people living in a difficult economy to do the same jobs US hires do/did for less pay and worse benefits. Metrics have tanked across the board, customer churn is high. Morale is as low as it can possibly go. Constant turnover in every department, particularly in leadership roles, so no one knows what their chain of command is. Then they appoint new leadership who have no idea about the product line or people they're overseeing. There is absolutely no value that any of Employ's product lines are offering that competitors aren't doing better. The sites are held together with bubblegum and shoestring. Employees frequently crash out from stress and there is drama and pettiness at every turn, when before this year I never saw any of that even once during my many years at my legacy brand. Culture is completely dead. Benefits and pay have totally fallen by the wayside in favor of introducing AI tools nobody wants or asked for. Voices are not heard and suggestions are ignored. It's a disaster. I miss the job I used to have here before private equity and corporate shenanigans destroyed it. Such a shame. There are people here really trying so hard to make things work, but at the end of the day what happens is we get a promising team together, they tell us their vision for improvements, then about 1/4 of the way into implementing those ideas, everything falls apart and turns over again. The ones who have been here the longest and are the most passionate have little say. Every time I've gotten my hopes up that things might get better, it actually somehow gets worse.

Worst Company I've Ever Worked For RUN

Pros

It was remote, I received a paycheck and made some decent commission

Cons

Where. Do I even begin. If you are considering working for this company I urge you to read this review along with the many many other REAL reviews on here (they are all 1-2 stars btw) please, just don’t make the same mistake I did. This so called “company” will set you up to to fail from the start and then when you undoubtedly fail they turn it around on you, put you on a PIP and fire you classic corporate gaslighting. I was assured there would be a solid training program and “lots of strong support to make sure I get up and running quickly” well first few weeks the “training program” which was a complete joke btw, it was mainly multiple choice quizzes to learn basic product knowledge and fundamentals. This was immediately a huge red flag but I did try to push through and look past it. Then I come to learn not only is there no process for training, there is no process for ANYTHING this company does. Zero in the way of resources and support, ZERO “culture” every person that works here aside from a select few are extremely passive aggressive, condescending and LAZY. There is absolutely no guidance on best practices because there are none! One other thing they do not have is clout to save their lives - this company called employ a mash up of 3 (now 4) other companies-this was years ago and STILL NO ONE in this industry even knows who employ is! -but don't you dare push back or ask why other teams don’t do anything because they will turn it against you, and act like its YOUR problem none of them can do their jobs. This is the same way it is with the ELT team, management, everyone. And everyone is miserable because everyone’s pointing fingers at everyone else as to why everything sucks! No one is hitting goals so stress is high and The go to phrase when us reps ask where all these cool new updates are is “coming soon” people laugh but we all know it’s far from funny, NO ONE HITS QUOTA HERE if you close a deal forget getting congrats or even being mentioned in meetings you will get intentionally left off deal announcements, left off meetings and bullied when you expect people to pull their weight (more gaslighting). Save yourself the grief and stress there are way better Saas companies out there to work for. This one is miserable and will only get worse, I don’t see them being in business much longer and good riddance!

Appreciate the passion — though we’d argue a few points. Nearly 90 people attended Presidents Club this year, so the “no one hits quota” claim isn't an accurate one. We’re always improving our training and support, for example in the last year we have added 5 multi-week training programs to our organization based on feedback, even the fiery kind. Having said that, we truly wish you the best luck wherever you land next.
