Pros

This company is unlike many hotel companies because they allow their team to be creative. There is nothing like providing an idea and then being given the license to watch it grow into something great. They care about the environment that their employees work in and genuinely know how to create a culture that is fun to work in.

Cons

To some degree there is micromanagement from Corporate Leaders that breeds fear and leads to more daily stress than needed. 21c is growing and rapidly. It is to be seen how well the Leaders are able to manage the growth and keep a great culture. Front line management - the Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance Manager etc. are not given the training that they need to grow in their roles. More focus is on growing line level than management and this leads to unhappy managers.

Front end management is great, I love my coworkers, and the job itself is pretty fun

Cons

Valet is general is just an unfortunate career to have during the winter because of slow business and you have to walk outside in the snow
