Pros

The company has a very positive outlook and is growing rapidly. Like any growing company, there are strengths and weaknesses but there's definitely constant effort from most (not all-see below) to Improve. Some of the VPs are clueless and lack in management skills but they make up for it in many ways.

Cons

Communication is lacking. Employees will hear different things from different people and can never get any clarity, including changes in compensation structure. The worst thing currently: One of the VPs is extremely rude and arrogant. A big driver for anyone to leave. Especially those who are victim to his treatment (in summary, whatever he says goes and he treats people like they are his pets. He's abrupt and condescending). Other issues exist too. Another bad one is there's no set compensation structure. People doing the same exact job don't get paid the same only because one person asked for more at the time of hiring.

As you mentioned, the company is growing rapidly. With that growth there may be times that it seems our policies and processes are incomplete or our structures are unclear. This may be due to a stepped approach to implementing a new policy or process, or even using a trial period to see if the program is the correct one to deliver the outcomes that are desired. This is all in an effort to implement the best programs for our employees at each stage or our corporate development. It is concerning to hear your thoughts about the senior staff member. We have a confidential employee feedback link on the internal portal that can be accessed for any issues that may arise. We encourage all employees to provide us with their feedback so we can work to improve employee relations. There are many personalities and sometimes there are misconceptions that can be easily resolved if only parties are made aware and given a chance to address them. You may not know this, but there is a well-structured compensation plan in place. Employees are brought on board at a level that is commiserate with their experience and background, and from there they advance based on their effort and success in their position. Any differences in compensation would reflect these factors. As compensation is a highly personal piece of data we are not free to share all of the details of individual compensation, but please be assured that there are multiple facets to the question of what people are paid. Pros

I’ve been working as an SDR at Absorb LMS for about three months now, and my experience has been overwhelmingly positive. Coming into my first role in tech sales, I wasn’t sure what to expect, especially after hearing how challenging and sometimes discouraging others’ first experiences can be, but this has been the complete opposite. I’ve been able to ramp up much faster than I anticipated, and a huge part of that comes down to the support system here. The managers and my colleagues are incredibly approachable and genuinely invested in helping each other succeed. It’s a very comfortable environment where asking for help or guidance is encouraged, not judged, and that’s allowed me to grow and improve at a much faster pace. In just a short time, I’ve already seen strong personal progress, and it’s equally motivating to see others on my team achieving success as well. That shared momentum creates a really energizing atmosphere where everyone is pushing to get better and celebrating each other’s wins along the way. One thing that really stands out is how much the company values performance and recognizes achievements. Wins, big or small, are acknowledged and celebrated in a way that keeps you motivated and striving to maintain that level of success. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction into tech sales. This role has not only been a great learning experience but also a very encouraging one. It’s given me confidence in my ability to grow within this field, and I’m excited to continue developing my skills and eventually work toward becoming an AE.
