Pros
Extra-curricular activities seem to be the priority.
Cons
Bronto is one giant smoke and mirrors operation. They pride themselves on philanthropic community and being a grass roots organization, but when you peel back the onion the upper management seem to more concerned with image than a good product and honest place to work. Bronto tried to scale quickly in 2011 and they hired rapidly with lots of false promises based on market strength and new customer acquisition. Bronto was never and will never be able to compete at the high end of the email market. Just ask their handful of high end customers that were oversold and duped into thinking that Bronto has an adequate solution for global retailers. They fired a ton of employees once this realization was obvious . All profit it appears go towards marketing, events, the owners pockets, and building a cute facade for the big green happy dinosaur. Perhaps they should invest in their dinosaur age product and stop teaching their sales people and account managers to lie to prospects and current customers. They also force all employees to share motel rooms when travelling for work. Awkward, uncomfortable, and completely unreasonable for an enterprise software company. They force senior employees to bunk up with colleagues for a full week on the road because they can't afford a $79/night room at the Fairfield Inne, but they can afford a kegorator with 2 full kegs of beer at all times and an endless supply of inflatable green dinosaurs.
