Pros
Strong product-market fit in the commercial construction and field service industry. Customers are genuinely excited to modernize away from legacy software. Fast-paced environment with the opportunity to make a visible impact. Cross-functional collaboration gives SEs visibility across multiple parts of the business.
Cons
The product has potential, but from an engineer's perspective it's clear there are still a lot of usability issues. Simple tasks often take more taps than they should, and the app can feel slow when you're trying to update jobs in the field. Connectivity problems make it frustrating when working in areas with poor service, and syncing isn't always reliable.
It also feels like many features are built with the office in mind instead of the technicians who use the app all day. Workflows can be clunky, and small changes often require multiple screens or extra steps. Instead of making my day more efficient, it sometimes adds unnecessary administrative work.
Customer feedback doesn't always seem to translate into meaningful product improvements, and updates occasionally introduce new issues while leaving long-standing ones unresolved. There's definitely room for improvement before I'd recommend it to other service teams.
