Pros

Very chill workplace. Have the occasional rushed project but typically project timelines are very loose and you never feel like you're getting worked to the bone. I always have time to take a breather and talk with my coworkers before getting back into things. Lots of community events. Everyone loves working here from my experience, and most people are more than willing to help you need it. They love to keep people within the same company so there is room for lateral or upward movement in roles. My boss in particular is very understanding of taking off work for various reasons (appointments, home maintenance, etc.). Upper management is down to earth and makes sure to stop in and spend time in the building. Cubes are very spacious.

Cons

Lack of standards in communication as well as lack of training on products and drawing standards. Often get projects with not enough information to start drawing -- wish there were standards for submitting projects to CAD.

Pros

flexibility with job duties, relaxed atmosphere, quality coworkers, freedom to explore other opportunities within the company and develop new skills, very mindful and supportive of work-life balance. Good place to be if you want to blend in and have job security

Cons

benefits are very expensive - lots of unnecessary bells & whistles, health insurance does not allow spouses unless they can't get insurance from their employer, not very good at integrating and leveraging strengths of new employees after acquisitions, very large company - changes happen very slowly, too many products - competent with most of them but not necessarily the best at anything, not the best place to be if you have career advancement / management goals
