Good pay and benefits, nonexistent work/life balance - Lead Associate DENSO Employee Review

Pros

Good paying, stable job. You never struggle to work enough hours and the benefits are some of the best I’ve seen in the area. The people on the floor are overall friendly and easy to get along with.

Cons

Mandatory overtime is a fact of life. Depending on the area you work in, you’ll be working 6-7 days a week at a minimum of 8 hours per day. If you have a spouse or kids, don’t expect to see them much. Management cannot seem to get control of their production schedule to give people more time off (or they simply don’t want to). As a result, the turnover rate is astronomical. Not many people last more than a year or two before they’re so burned out that they simply stop showing up one day (many only last a matter of weeks or months). The relationship between management and production teams seems very adversarial.
