Pros
Great mission, I really believe we're making a huge difference. It's great to help fight the high costs of healthcare and help people have better health outcomes. I've been with the company for over 5 years and it's like a different world today. We're large so our impact is broad and we have a lot of opportunities to grow and learn new things. The leadership team and the culture have changed dramatically in the past few years so it's a much better environment where people are want to work together and have fun. I've never seen an evolution like this and it's exciting to be part of it.
Cons
It's a fast paced environment which some people don't like. You have to show up ready to go but I actually like that. Definitely not a place to kick back and put your feet up. However, it's a lot better than it used to be. The parking lot gets pretty empty shortly after 5:00 so it's definitely not like the reputation from a few years ago. While the changes are real, it does take a long time to turn a company this large so not all leaders have caught up with the culture changes, and employees are still careful about trusting leaders.
