Toxic work environment Blame is quickly assigned and then suffer from guilty until proven innocent syndrome Sr Directors and Junior level VPs are promoted through nepotism and 'favorite children' and not so much and leadership ability or experience Many in leadership positions are incapable or afraid of making decisions without gaining approval first. This is rightfully so as many have been punished for leading the charge and making good, timely decisions. Next line leadership is not good about backing subordinate leaders. The number of employees that remain with the company beyond 3 years or so drops significantly. You don't see many 'old timers' here and it's not due to their ability.
