Avoid this place! - Pharmacy Technician Express Scripts Employee Review

Toxic work environment, poor management, petty co-workers, and no opportunities for advancement. Management does not appreciate or care about their employees. They generally do not promote from within. I've only seen ONE employee advance to a higher position the entire time I've worked here. As a pharmacy technician here you won't learn any knowledge/skills that will make you valuable in other pharmacy settings. This job is no different than any other factory job. You will not gain valuable work experience here. You're better off sticking to a retail pharmacy until you find employment at a hospital. The supervisor and the pharmacists aren't allowed to give references when you leave. The negativity here is contagious, this place drained the motivation out of me. Petty co-workers look for ways to stir the pot. The longer I've worked here the worse I felt. My only regret is not leaving sooner.
