Pros
The best thing about working at Frontline was the people on my team. Mid-management in all areas does a tremendous job of servant leadership and helped everyone on my team feel truly valued and appreciated.
Cons
Complete lack of honesty from the executive level of leadership. Quite clearly, Frontline has determined that offshoring positions throughout the organization is the path of the future. Instead of being honest about what their new strategy is, they hide behind excuses while refusing to backfill badly needed positions. This may be a short term trick to boost the valuation but ultimately Frontline’s key solutions are increasingly vulnerable to market competition while no longer able to boast of deeply knowledge support reps. Invest in the people who cared so much about the solutions and your customers that they became product experts to do so. Contractors will never provide that same level of servant leadership and commitment to clients. The more Frontline relies on them, the more they place their entire future on a crumbling house of cards. There is also no unity among the different organizations within the company. This leads to incredibly poor decision making that affects Frontline’s future and key external stakeholders. Please don’t be blind to the increasingly negative impression your clients (and especially your most important ones) have of the organization with each passing school year.
