Pros
A love of games and customer service is mandatory. If you have these, you have the abilities to possibly enjoy your job.
Cons
Exceedingly low pay - you'll be earning around $10K less a year than your peers as management. Lack of upwards communication - the corporate office does not listen to its employees. Long, long hours - 6 days mandatory during holidays, at the already 44 mandatory hours a week (paid for 40 of those, by the way). The corporate office does not follow its own rules and will tell you to go against their own return policies almost daily. Finally, expect to be treated horribly by customers and come back asking for more; employees are always at fault, even if the corporation goofs up. Case in point - a Buy 2 Get 1 Free sale that saw no promotion two months ago and was given to the employees with half a day's preparation was blamed on the district's staff by its District Manager as 'not being pushed enough.'
