Pros

WFH. That is all. No other good reason to take this type of job. Might be good if you're not an agent. I mean if you have an operational role. Agents get the worst treatment/experience

Cons

Mental Depletion. Zero support. Everyone is chasing their tails. One support agent has a different knowledge and access to something yet another support agent thinks something else and can only do so much. They move you between managers like a lottery ticket. I don't even know who my manager is right now. IT IS ABSOLUTELY A SALES POSITION. They'll sugarcoat it in the interview and if you don't sell, you'll get booted. 30 seconds after call work should be a crime in saner climes. Your KPIs are so illogical. Almost all performance-based KPIs are things beyond your control. How is it my fault that a customer called back within 7 days of speaking to me? What if they forgot to ask something? I could go on and on and no, I will not email you at talk2us@hgs yada yada.

Low pay for the chat agent, but pay increases in time Can be laid off easily
