Poor leadership. Managers often don’t know what their teams are doing. No development structure in place for support center or field employees. Layoffs.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback and concerns with us. We respect and value every member of our team, so we are disappointed to hear you feel you have not been receiving the support from management we work to provide. We did make a change to our go-forward strategy that will enable Heart + Paw to grow primarily through a co-ownership de novo business model moving forward. That business model, unfortunately, requires fewer people in our central support center, so we had to make the very difficult decision to streamline the team. We were genuinely sorry to lose some talented team members and we thank you for your hard work and dedication. We encourage anyone with concerns or questions to reach out to Human Resources so those concerns can be heard and addressed, if appropriate.
