Cons
I was hopeful when I started at this company, but quickly realized it was far from the "family-like" environment they claim to offer. The management here is a major issue—they're more focused on filling positions with warm bodies than actually considering if someone has the skill set necessary for the job. They tend to favor people based on whether they're easily moldible and if they fit into their cliquey little groups, rather than merit or capability. What’s worse is the overall lack of diversity and acceptance. If you're not part of the in-crowd, or your personality doesn't align with their rigid, almost cult-like dynamic, you’ll find yourself pushed out, no matter how skilled or capable you are. They sell the idea of being a family, but the reality is, if you don’t mesh with their narrow cultural mold, you’re easily disposable. There’s very little room for growth or development unless you play the game and fit in with their inner circle. If you question the status quo or try to bring in new ideas, you're quickly shut down. The work culture is toxic, and any semblance of "togetherness" is a facade that hides how exclusionary and toxic the environment truly is. If you're looking for a place that values diversity, individuality, quality veterinary care and real skill, this isn’t it.
