12yWhen you make an acquisitions you don’t get to choose the employees. Many can be a good cultural fit but often not all. Background: Our Chicago office was unhappy and unionizing when we took it over. After three years listening and internal training that is no longer the case and employees are much happier and no longer pursuing a union.
Our cultural is steeped in teamwork, customer service, and accountability. People are held accountable for bad behavior and sometimes they don’t like and can’t handle that. We don’t shy away from praise or constructive criticism from our employees or our clients.
Please remember that we welcome and respond to employees feedback. Don't be afraid to discuss unpleasant things - you can email us if you are not comfortable talking face to face. We want to hear from you, but if you remain quiet, we can't address it.
Also, we even go so far as to conduct exit interviews for most terminated employees. Unfortunately anonymous feedback is rarely constructive or completely truthful. We know there are three sides to every story and we take each side into consideration.
