Pros

There are not many... you get paid, nice location, some perks like luncheons and recognition.

Cons

The "nice" things management does for us is simply to get our mind off of all the wrong going on in the company. Success starts at the very top and without a strong leadership team, there is no way anyone in their RIGHT mind can last here more than a few years (while they build up their resume to move to a more stable company with real leadership skills). There is no doubt employees would appreciate a better leadership team that makes their job worth looking forward to every day, rather than the occasional recognition award or meaningless pep talks.

Thank you for your review. You ask us to “take action” and get involved… We are doing that by evaluating our employees and their performance from the top on down. So we have to ask the question... Are you upset due to our policy change regarding cell phone usage during working hours? While not everyone abused the use of their cell phones enough people did and as a result we are obligated to apply a policy change to all equally. Our short term and long term goal is to have a knowledgeable and dedicated team that will contribute to our success. As your CEO, I want to hear from you, but if you remain anonymous, I cannot address your concerns. My door is always open - to everyone. Pros

The culture and the people is what makes this place different from other companies. You can't help but get excited about the energy and the work that is being done. It is truly a fun atmosphere. You get to know the owners, they joke with you. You work with every department on multiple projects - so you get to know everyone in the building. Its your choice of what you want to make of your job. If you want to be a stick in the mud, you can be. If you want to enjoy what you do for 8 hours - its your choice - but the management team and other co-workers are here to work, and help you in any way.

Cons

I see a lot of negative reviews on here. If you aren't happy at Mangrove, why don't you get another job? No one is forcing you to stay. There are other places you can work. The owners are not bad people and saying you disapprove of the CEO when you don't even know him is quite ridiculous. If you have issues with your manager - that's what HR is for. GROW UP, be an adult and stop bashing a company just because you don't get your way. A lot of us are sick of hearing you complain.
