This is by far the best company I have ever worked at. The MasterControl leadership team is amazing. Very experienced, and passionate in growing the company and it's employees. The product is fantastic, and with the new investment will only get better. Customers love MasterControl. The culture at the company is great, everyone is collaborative and enjoying themselevs. This is the first company where I have not experienced any politics. Everyone is trying to improve the overall goal of the company. With the new outside investment they have just given everyone equity in the company.

Cons

none so far, hopefully the culture does not change with the outside investors

Great people and culture. Solid benefits, Health insurance paid 100%.

Cons

Comp is ok. Promotions are almost impossible to get. Constant layoffs, maybe 5-7 times in the past 12 months? Engineering leadership is constantly switching priorities and lacks vision, transparency, and ownership. Long-standing traditions are now being canceled, likely to save money. Poor AI posture in engineering. Engineers are encouraged to spend ridiculous amounts on AI tokens, then the company does layoffs because it spent too much on AI.
