Pros

MasterControl has a fantastic culture of growth and support - we are all in it together for the customers. The products are exciting to work on as they impact our customers so positively. I've been at MasterControl for almost a decade and have seen the company grow and change, but remain transparent and embrace the culture and value the employees that have helped grow the organization.

Cons

Growing pains as we work to achieve our objectives and work through different leadership that brings in change that is uncomfortable for some (but necessary in my opinion)

Pros

Great people and culture. Solid benefits, Health insurance paid 100%.

Cons

Comp is ok. Promotions are almost impossible to get. Constant layoffs, maybe 5-7 times in the past 12 months? Engineering leadership is constantly switching priorities and lacks vision, transparency, and ownership. Long-standing traditions are now being canceled, likely to save money. Poor AI posture in engineering. Engineers are encouraged to spend ridiculous amounts on AI tokens, then the company does layoffs because it spent too much on AI.
