Pros
Great work/life balance, generally good people, very flexible WRT remote work, hours, and much else. Have kids? Have a life outside of work? Need flexibility? Like job stability? Join a company that's never had layoffs in its history! It's also privately owned, which means that there is less emphasis on the bottom line than there can be with publicly traded companies. While the pay isn't the best, the benefits are top notch. Getting sick of your current role? Transfer into another group or even division. This company promotes exclusively from within, so it's very possible to work your way upwards over time, or lateral into another role that suits you better.
Cons
Antiquated technology stack that is only slowly making its way into the future, and the pay is on the lower side for the industry and area (although you can acquire skills here that lead to other opportunities). You will not get rich working here, and you will occasionally be baffled by management priorities.
