Pros

The people in TS at MicroStrategy are great, the culture and friendships you make will last outside of work. We had fixed hours of 9-6 or 10-7, and you don't take work home outside of that. Free food, snacks, coffee, and even beer on tap in the company lounge. Good benefits - with a percentage matching up to 12% for 401k, health/dental/vision, hsa/fsa, etc.

Cons

When I first started we had quarter team events, yacht parties, and other fun activities. Over the last year - all of that disappeared. TS is constantly seen has beneath account/sales, tech, and other departments and we aren't respected or professionally treated within the company. Middle management makes decisions for us without any input from our end - such as changes to systems, moving floors, etc. Department management micro-manages, forces tasks, adds additional work without proper compensation, lacks transperancy, and bends at the will of any input from anyone at Cxo level or other departments even if it jeopardizes their team. Lack in growth as TS management will not allow you to move internally to other teams and make false promises or promotions and taking on more tasks.
