Working at home is okay Hours can be had, if needed For some contracts, commissions can be had for upsales People are generally helpful and friendly After a few months of doing it, the job is so braindead simple that you can get away with listening to music or playing video games on a console or on another computer while you do your work.
Cons
They don't know what they're doing sometimes and employees get blame for the company's hardware issues Some of the management was hired from nepotism and other unethical favoritism (dating or marrying someone related to the owner or a manager) Metrics are what your pay is based on, not performance, competence and experience. IE: crappy callers means poor pay Some managers and supervisors are far too solicitous insofar as things they shouldn't be concerned with (personal life) Other managers and supervisors, a few, are bullies The amount of opportunity for advancement is okay for college kids with people with no alternative After a few months of doing it, the job is so braindead simple that you can get away with listening to music or playing video games on a console or on another computer while you do your work. There's no incentive not to, especially regarding hourly pay and advancement. None at all. If you upset a supervisor or manager off they'll give you a very messed up shift or use some other petty tactic, 4 hours in the morning and 4 at night. It's terrible and a clear effort to try your desire to work there.
