Pros
-Work from home -Mindless work you can be amazing at -If you can brush people being mad at you for no reason off, youll excel -Wash/Rinse/Repeat type of work life
Cons
-The pay is terrible, once you get promoted you are expected to take anywhere up to 6 ISPS for 11$. That means back to back calls, absolutely no time in between calls to gather yourself, and when more contracts get added, as tier 3 you are expected to just take the new ISP and not get a raise. -Some of the people are just flat out rude. Every single floor manager is like a robot bent to be a rude jerk each time you need them, expect a copy/pasted or rude response. -Its like high school all over again, you can get a reputation just for being honest, if you have a problem with someone it's called an open door policy, yet the second something is brought up, everyone in other departments know who you are. -The tools and procedures for the ISP's are ridiculous. The repair process for one of the ISP's is simply, we don't know. When there is an update, and if you happen to call in, we can tell you, but other then that your internet will be broke until some back office repair department fixes it. No we cant call them, no we cant put a rush on that, hell I dont even know where you ticket is in there que. Thats the level of technical support you are giving. This can be for tickets that have been opened a FULL WEEK or more without a SINGLE update! You're supposed to just tell them to keep calling back, and deal with the brute force of their anger.
