Pros
Work from home Decent pay with room for promotions and pay increases based on performance Fantastic support system and coworkers Everything needed to perform troubleshooting steps can be easily found Easy to move up within the company
Cons
The company we had a contract with was terrible. Improper transfers, no shows with field techs, etc. Most of the time, by the time I got the call, the customer had been given the run around for hours, if not days, by other employees that were not a part of teleNetwork. Companies were often angry and towards the end of my time there I was subjected to a lot of verbal abuse from customers. You have to have thick skin and you have to know how to deescalate calls - that will be your most important skill at this company. I did start to look at it as a challenge, and was often proud of myself when the customer would end the call happy and stating I was the only one who actually listened and fixed their problem.
