Pros

Flexible scheduling, working from home

Cons

This job is high stress and the starting pay is $9 an hour. You get two weeks paid "training" and then you are thrown into the call queue with very little experience and knowledge of what you are doing. The tools they use are outdated and crash a lot. This job is not worth the headache, especially for the little pay that you are earning - it does not match the work and knowledge you are expected to have to perform this job well. Note that I said "perform this job well" - if you are just there to fill a seat and not truly help customers, this job will probably be fine for you, because the goal of this company is to deflect and transfer customers as much as possible, as is the case with a lot of ISP's. Lunch breaks, restroom breaks, and regular breaks can only be taken through a queue system, so expect to wait awhile, especially for lunch. It's a really broken system that is in need of a lot of improvement. One of the ISP's that outsources to Telenetwork hires work from home tech support reps within their own company for $11 an hour starting out, with free internet, just keep that in mind. This is not truly a technical support job, it is a customer service job, and as long as you hit the customer service QA points and meet your call times, you are golden. I personally found this annoying because I am a technical person, and I feel that helping someone fix a problem is more important than reading from a script and making sure to hit call metrics, but that's just me. I would rather take my time and go the extra mile to help a customer, especially since the majority of their customers are elderly people and need a good bit of patient guidance due to not being very technically savvy.

Pros

There’s a lot of insurance benefits I guess

Cons

You would think the customers are the most daunting and terrible part of the job but it is not. It’s not. It’s the micromanagement from higher ups. The nitpicking comments of critique come off less as critique and more of jabs to make you feel bad for not fully getting the system as fast as possible. It’s left me anxious and depressed at the thought of clocking in. Please consider working for another company.
