Pros
- Competitive pay and strong benefits - Incredible teams - Whether contributing code or working directly with customers, the people on the frontline here are truly phenomenal
Cons
We used to have some truly amazing managers, but lately it’s started to feel more like a rat race. Some managers come across as overly controlling or eager to jump in, often micromanaging rather than trusting their teams. They’re quick to assign blame when things go wrong but slow to recognize good work. It’s created a culture where I spend more time worrying about the next Slack ping than focusing on meaningful work. Instead of supportive, collaborative leadership, it’s starting to feel like a more transactional, disconnected style of management, and that’s disheartening. A lot of the communication during zoom calls feels like it’s more about asserting authority than actually adding value or moving the work forward.
