At this point, hard to think of anything besides being employed

Cons

* Twilio club * Boys club in NY. If you do not work in NY or are a previous Twilio employee you do not belong * C level leadership are all friends, what they say happens. No matter how much of an expert you are, you have no contribution. Decisions are made by them which makes no sense and ultimately has affected revenue and driven out key performers * HR is useless. You can speak with them for months about what is affecting you but nothing changes. Ultimately if you are C level you are safe * Why hire people in C level roles that do not have the experience ? Instead their egos are inflated and now they are throwing around their weight * Certain people are favorites and part of "clubs". No matter how skilled you are and how hard you work, it does not matter

Competitive pay and they invest a lot in their marketing

Cons

very toxic work culture (hidden within buzz words and attempts to cover it up) , work/life balance doesn't exist, constant fire-drills, no warnings prior to letting people go, and EXTREMELY high turn-over rates for their employees: ie; they don't truly care about their staff or the family's of those they hire.
