Pros
Most people are young and like minded. High turnover means opportunities for promotion. Good place to get your foot in the door if you have no prior experience. Lower salary is augmented with other perks such as free lunch on Fridays. They spend a lot of money on an annual holiday party.
Cons
You'll be exposed to many tools but will gain little experience outside of SIEM. They invest more money into gaining customers than growing their employees. Many managers are too young and inexperienced to effectively lead a team. There is constant animosity between Tampa and Las Vegas locations. Like all other MSSPs they run a sweatshop with little to no work/life balance. Highly skilled analysts have few opportunities but to leave. Sales teams are treated as easily replaceable and have high turn over. Hiring criteria are highly subjective while relying primarily on low skill/cost. If you're not in the good 'ol boys club you don't have much of a voice. You must drink the Kool-Aid or be relegated to a stagnant career. There are highly disparate compensation rates for those in the same role. There are some fantastic leaders but they're not entrusted to act autonomously. The CEO is arrogant and communicates that lying is just 'entrepreneurship'. The CEO constantly shares self aggrandizing personal stories. The CEO fails to accept criticism well and disparages competition and critics.
