Pros
-Job rewards those who put in the effort and not those who sit around and expect promotions for free. Do NOT come here expecting a regular 9-5 job, RQ is not that and the hiring process you go through will make sure you understand that. -Possible 10% raise every 6 months, even if you are denied you will be given a chance to go through the process again and improve were you failed. Most jobs you are LUCKY to get a 5% raise ONCE a year. -Ability to work with every single industry leading SIEM as well as additional endpoint security technologies. -No one you talk to will ever be 'sad' about a workday here, the culture is evident from day 1. -Free food every Friday, free coffee whenever you want it and free ice cold water with SOLO(not Walmart brand) cups.
Cons
-The volume can occasionally be bad but the people here(backed by the culture) will laugh and work through it together. -Occasionally when onboarding a new customer the process is rushed and results in a confusion on how to handle certain processes for that new customer. -Not enough challenges. Even if the challenges do not mean a lateral movement to another team or promotion it would be amazing for people to have the opportunity to earn a unique title within the SOC or learn a new technology. -We are a checkbox for a lot of customers and they will not respond to our escalations which causes you to rework the same alert for the same traffic every other day.
