Pros

Pay is good, they do annual bonuses and raises

Cons

Can be a stressful work environment. Sometimes projects come with a lot of expectation and not much guidance. The system is pretty complex and every time you change teams it feels like you're a newbie learning the system for the first time again. They're not your typical tech company, with ping pong tables and those kinds of perks. They've got lunch on fridays and that's about it. They prefer to keep things pretty professional, given the nature of the software I guess I kind of get it

Thank you for your review. We certainly are not a typical tech company, and all of us are continually challenged to grow and learn in new roles or projects. Not always easy, but it helps us get better. We hope you were able to grow in your career during your time with us, and appreciate your work.

Pros

ReliaQuest has been a phenomenal place to work. One of the biggest things that stands out is how much the company invests in people who are willing to grow. It’s rare to find a company that promotes Business Development Representatives within 10–12 months, but here, hard work and development truly get recognized. If you’re willing to make yourself uncomfortable, apply feedback, stay adaptable, help others, and keep the right mindset, it will pay off. Management sees that effort and rewards it. It’s definitely not an easy job, but nothing great comes easy. What I’ve learned here in about a year is honestly what I believe would have taken me 3–5 years to learn somewhere else. ReliaQuest sees high-potential employees and genuinely wants to invest in them.

Cons

The role can be challenging and fast-paced, so it requires a lot of adaptability and resilience. It’s not an easy environment, but that also creates strong growth opportunities. It's also because of the industry in general!

Pros

The people were one of the main reasons I stayed. I met incredible coworkers who made a difficult environment much more bearable.

Cons

In my experience, the culture was much different from what I expected based on the interview process. I found the environment to be highly pressure driven, and support often took a back seat to performance expectations. Although the role was titled Customer Success, it often felt heavily focused on expansion. I frequently felt that renewals, customer relationships, and long term customer outcomes carried less weight than expansion revenue. No matter how hard I worked, it often felt like the expectations continued to increase. Burnout seemed common, and I found it difficult to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Job security also felt uncertain. Based on the turnover I observed, it seemed like many employees worried they could be let go unexpectedly, which, in my opinion, discouraged people from speaking up or taking risks. The onboarding experience was challenging. I felt new hires were expected to take on customer responsibilities quickly, while still learning the product and internal processes. Finally, I found work-life balance difficult to maintain. Five days in the office became mandatory during my time there, and staying late often felt like an expected part of the job.
