Poor Management Ruined this Company - Counter Sales Associate Simplot Company Employee Review

Great company, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with Simplot. Room for growth and future career opportunities.

HQ building is pretty cool and you can get some neat tours of company facilities. Work life balance is generally pretty good.

The company just has no idea what its doing regarding IT. Most management has been there 25+ years and still wants to operate like its the 90s. Head of IT is an accountant and the department is treated like a necessary evil and employees are told they provide no tangible value. Making any kind of impact is actively discourage and 'stay in your lane' is a core tenet. If you want to just show up, grind, and go home, this is the place for you.
