The post employment process lacked transparency and proper communication. Key details regarding my final payslip, including deductions such as “No Pay Leave,” were not clearly explained upfront, forcing me to follow up multiple times just to understand the breakdown. More concerning is that I have not received the full amount stated in my final payslip. While part of the withheld salary was credited, the total payment does not match what was indicated, and there has been no clear explanation or resolution provided. Retrenchment is already a difficult situation, and the lack of clarity, delayed responses, and incomplete payment only made it worse. Employees deserve accurate payroll, timely updates, and accountability none of which were adequately provided in this case.
