Pros

I may deny it much but I am a hopper. I never thought that I can still be surprised by another BPO company and TaskUs did! Starting from the first time I stepped inside their recruitment area, everyone was so jolly and cheerful. The receptionists greet everyone and anyone that would pass by and that simple gesture actually lightens up everyone's mood. They would go around the area asking everyone how they're doing and updating the applicants of their recruitment status. After getting hired, I received a text from the campaign's Operational Manager sending us, new hires, a very warm welcome. The training team and support teams are all very accommodating of our needs and queries. To be honest, this is just my second day and I am loving what I've seen and experienced! I like it how TaskUs puts a lot of effort to consider not just everyone's personal growth but also take care of their health and makes sure of everyone's financial awareness. Lastly, the cherry on top, are the wonderful facilities.

Cons

None that I have observed.

Pros

Loved the LXL management chain. Supportive, fun, progress-minded. The company as a whole was okay, but the department I was with made it amazing. Lots of opportunities to develop skills. Absolutely incredible visibility for diversity, which is celebrated and respected without hesitation.

Cons

Very high demand. Can be very challenging to learn how to balance work and breathing room without falling behind. Many other departments were quick to blame the LXL department in front of highly regarded stakeholders for failures that were not of our own. Pay also changes depending on the client you work with. My client was the highest paying client at the time I was employed. The LXLs working for the branch-off of work from my client were paid much more than I due to the intensity of the work. My pay was considered the cap for where I was, and getting a raise that was not just a few pennies was not going to happen. Moving up is possible but limited. Due to this company being a BPO, if the client no longer needs our work, we are liable to be laid off. Employees are not contracted, but TaskUs is contracted to the client. Layoffs are a possibility, be it near or far. I was laid off after 4 years and saw many waves of many sizes laid off while there.
