Pros

Positive Reviews USED To Be True Pros -Free coffee -Taco Shop -New Events weekly

Cons

-No Growth (When hired it was assured there was plenty) -Only cares about their downtown location -Theyre doubling the workload, without giving extra time to work on backlog -Double chats for everyone -You get moved around constantly, and your schedule can be changed by them whenever they want -People have to be retrained -NO unpaid time off // if you cannot use PTO you can not go anywhere -No sick leave / emergency leave -Constant change for the worse -Slowly turning into a call center it feels like -Workplace morale lower than ever I was hired nearly 6 months ago, and nearly every single thing at this job has changed for the worse. There is weekly changes to the job that affects EVERYTHING and employees get very little to no warning. The foot soldiers hear more than the leaders do, and the morale here among employees chips away with each passing day. At this time, I have lost alot of faith within the company. I am hoping to move to another client within the company, or get a new job. The inconistency within this job is insane, and the fact that we are now expected to double our workload is shocking. Personal Outlook: At this time, I have decided that I cannot work a job that does not offer unpaid time off, there is no opening for life to happen around me. (Weddings, Birthdays, Vacation with family). Once I find a new job, I will be leaving TaskUs. The decision to change this (after I was hired) is a deal breaker.

TaskUs Response

Thanks for the honest review, and I'm sorry to hear you aren't happy at TaskUs. We understand the more TaskUs grows, the more work there is to be done. Therefore, we’re continuing to add to our teams. More importantly, we rely on the feedback our employees provide in our quarterly eSAT surveys to help us make positive changes. I'd like to hear more about your experience. Can you email me at bryce@taskus.com? - Bryce

Pros

The Frontline First culture is unlike any other organization I have worked for. I feel like the CEO and other CSuite leaders are transparent and approachable. Solid leaders who clearly understand the needs of employees.

Cons

Like all companies there are opportunities to improve, so nothing really worth mentioning.

Pros

Loved the LXL management chain. Supportive, fun, progress-minded. The company as a whole was okay, but the department I was with made it amazing. Lots of opportunities to develop skills. Absolutely incredible visibility for diversity, which is celebrated and respected without hesitation.

Cons

Very high demand. Can be very challenging to learn how to balance work and breathing room without falling behind. Many other departments were quick to blame the LXL department in front of highly regarded stakeholders for failures that were not of our own. Pay also changes depending on the client you work with. My client was the highest paying client at the time I was employed. The LXLs working for the branch-off of work from my client were paid much more than I due to the intensity of the work. My pay was considered the cap for where I was, and getting a raise that was not just a few pennies was not going to happen. Moving up is possible but limited. Due to this company being a BPO, if the client no longer needs our work, we are liable to be laid off. Employees are not contracted, but TaskUs is contracted to the client. Layoffs are a possibility, be it near or far. I was laid off after 4 years and saw many waves of many sizes laid off while there.
