Pros
Management tell you all the fun awesome things they do for the front line....but never do any of them.... They let employees host frequent potlucks You can watch your supervisor text, scroll social media, play games, and make unnecessary personal calls all day....while simultaneously knowing you will be fired if you have a fitbit on Not much of a dress code
Cons
Rules change constantly and people lose their jobs left and right because the rules are not communicated to everyone Management is always bragging about the things they do, but it never happens Your car will get towed in the parking lot, managers snidely remark how they are tired of letting people move their cars so they dont tell them and let them get towed They placate employees while micromanaging everything One of the core metric is how closely for follow your schedule So if you get a call before your break and that call last 8 minutes you have now missed that metric, if you dont take the call you get fired If you take a bathroom break that time is taken out of your sick leave Every single minuet of your day is micromanaged, so even when they do have "ridiculous fun" it's only the management that has the freedom of schedule to participate. So agents dont even get much of an opportunity to attempt to participate. You have no anonymity, nothing on desk, managment threw away my tylenol bottle while I was on lunch once Pay is insultingly low, not enough to survive. Definitely not enough to live well They claim to promote from within, every day I see a new announcement of an outside hire The hire all the same managers from the horrible other call centers in San Antonio, so they are bringing in the exact reason these same agents left those jobs....but TaskUs has much stricter rules You are treated like your numbers are the only thing that matters, but several different catch 22 situations make it difficult to meet the numbers, managements response is to fire people They are constantly bragging about being front line first to your face, but don't actually put the front line first Parking is impossible and there are very limited food options so you have to bring lunch, they use to give us free ramen but decided it was unhealthy so now we have to bring our own ramen, that's not a con it was just weird. Events are scheduled around when they are touring potential clients, so they can show off the fun workplace
