Pros

A paycheck is the only "pro" at this company.

Cons

If I could turn back time, I would have never accepted a position at TaskUs. I resigned in the end of 2019 and I can without a doubt say that I am now stress-free. This workplace environment is toxic and filled with people who are willing to say/ do anything just not to get fired. As a "Marketing Expert," your day is filled with back-to-back sales calls. If you enjoy being a robot and getting critiqued for not sounding "excited enough" on a call, this is the job for you! During my time at TaskUs, my position as a Marketing Expert changed multiple times and I also worked underneath three different managers. For NDA reasons, I am not able to disclose the name of the client we worked for, but let me tell you... TaskUs is willing to do whatever it takes to keep this contract alive. Lies, fake metrics, firing people... ANYTHING. At the end of the day, this is your typical call center environment. Managers will micromanage and dissect every part of your call. The only thing I enjoyed about this position was the people we would talk to on the phone (the nice ones, at least). The pay was decent, but in the grand scheme of things, not worth it since this place sucks your soul. Actually, while we are discussing pay, during the last few weeks of my employment here... the entire sales floor got told that we should be grateful for the pay that we are receiving and that no other company would ever pay us this much for the work we do. What a lovely thing to say to an already-upset group of sales people! Oh, also -- when it comes to the mythological creature known as "bonuses," good luck with ever getting one! I only got paid out a full bonus ONCE. Other than that, I received pathetic little bonuses which boiled down to nothing once taxes were applied. Last but not least... their "be ridiculous" motto is so overused and untrue. The only thing "ridiculous" about TaskUs is the way they treat their employees.

Pros

The Frontline First culture is unlike any other organization I have worked for. I feel like the CEO and other CSuite leaders are transparent and approachable. Solid leaders who clearly understand the needs of employees.

Cons

Like all companies there are opportunities to improve, so nothing really worth mentioning.

Pros

Loved the LXL management chain. Supportive, fun, progress-minded. The company as a whole was okay, but the department I was with made it amazing. Lots of opportunities to develop skills. Absolutely incredible visibility for diversity, which is celebrated and respected without hesitation.

Cons

Very high demand. Can be very challenging to learn how to balance work and breathing room without falling behind. Many other departments were quick to blame the LXL department in front of highly regarded stakeholders for failures that were not of our own. Pay also changes depending on the client you work with. My client was the highest paying client at the time I was employed. The LXLs working for the branch-off of work from my client were paid much more than I due to the intensity of the work. My pay was considered the cap for where I was, and getting a raise that was not just a few pennies was not going to happen. Moving up is possible but limited. Due to this company being a BPO, if the client no longer needs our work, we are liable to be laid off. Employees are not contracted, but TaskUs is contracted to the client. Layoffs are a possibility, be it near or far. I was laid off after 4 years and saw many waves of many sizes laid off while there.
