Pros

During the quarantine it was not difficult to pivot as the culture is strong. Highlighting the leadership team who went above and beyond delivering thousands of equipment to teammates and support staff, the managements' proactiveness in ensuring all employees are taken cared of by providing them more than enough with regard to the pay, benefits and supporting us not just physically but mentally through our weekly mental health engagements. There is good collaboration between the teams that focuses on solution than pointing fingers. Provides security to loved ones as it extends to LGBTQ partners, common law partners and overaged parents up to 75 years of age for single employees. Appraisals are not based on the whim of the leaders but giving opportunity to everyone to present their performance, passion and purpose which can be done not once but twice a year. During meetings they practice core value nominations to instill the culture of positivity highlighting the wins and strengths that fuels you to perform better. They practice radical candor as you only get better when you are given direct feedback on the areas that you need to improve on. Regular Townhalls from our CEO (Bryce Maddock) himself together with the President and all the chief executives despite their busy schedules has shown their commitment in valuing their employees which I have not seen in my past companies.

Cons

Pay is not competitive as seen on some of the negative reviews but if I look into the overall benefits - state-of-the-art facilities, daycare, health benefits, food forward (healthy food served in the pantry at minimum of P5 as donation to our chosen charitable institution) , appraisals twice a year and the best culture is more than what money can offer that sadly some do not realize.

Pros

Loved the LXL management chain. Supportive, fun, progress-minded. The company as a whole was okay, but the department I was with made it amazing. Lots of opportunities to develop skills. Absolutely incredible visibility for diversity, which is celebrated and respected without hesitation.

Cons

Very high demand. Can be very challenging to learn how to balance work and breathing room without falling behind. Many other departments were quick to blame the LXL department in front of highly regarded stakeholders for failures that were not of our own. Pay also changes depending on the client you work with. My client was the highest paying client at the time I was employed. The LXLs working for the branch-off of work from my client were paid much more than I due to the intensity of the work. My pay was considered the cap for where I was, and getting a raise that was not just a few pennies was not going to happen. Moving up is possible but limited. Due to this company being a BPO, if the client no longer needs our work, we are liable to be laid off. Employees are not contracted, but TaskUs is contracted to the client. Layoffs are a possibility, be it near or far. I was laid off after 4 years and saw many waves of many sizes laid off while there.
