Pros

The company since the start of the pandemic and community quarantine has done nothing but to go above and beyond to look after its people. The safety of all employees became the priority, teammates were deployed equipments and portable WiFi to work in the comforts of their home. When issue on intermittent connectivity arise instead of asking the teammates to report back to work, they did something ridiculously amazing again and started installing Fibre connection to those who are badly affected of the technology issue. Just last week, our big boss announced that we will be working from home until end of year and this is the best announcement for all! We continue to provide for our families safely and helping the economy in this trying times. I am not going to be surprised if there will be more people-first initiatives that TaskUs will do in the future. I am proud to be part of this company and I am pumped to give more than my 100% to give it back to them and the community.

Pros

Loved the LXL management chain. Supportive, fun, progress-minded. The company as a whole was okay, but the department I was with made it amazing. Lots of opportunities to develop skills. Absolutely incredible visibility for diversity, which is celebrated and respected without hesitation.

Cons

Very high demand. Can be very challenging to learn how to balance work and breathing room without falling behind. Many other departments were quick to blame the LXL department in front of highly regarded stakeholders for failures that were not of our own. Pay also changes depending on the client you work with. My client was the highest paying client at the time I was employed. The LXLs working for the branch-off of work from my client were paid much more than I due to the intensity of the work. My pay was considered the cap for where I was, and getting a raise that was not just a few pennies was not going to happen. Moving up is possible but limited. Due to this company being a BPO, if the client no longer needs our work, we are liable to be laid off. Employees are not contracted, but TaskUs is contracted to the client. Layoffs are a possibility, be it near or far. I was laid off after 4 years and saw many waves of many sizes laid off while there.
