Pros

There is a lot of really cool and talented people that are willing to help you out when you need it.

Cons

They don't pay you for your worth and throw extra work on you that is not in your job description because they don't want to pay anyone for it. They question when teammates take time off, even when they say they don't want to prevent you from taking time off. They don't take into consideration the teammates personal lives getting to them and expect them to focus on work even with a families death on their mind. They pressure teammates into working overtime when they choose to understaff in order to save money. The "merit raises" are less than desirable on a good day and don't even happen fairly across the board. After having worked here for almost 3 years, I can say that my growth is stunted and I have not been compensated for the work I have done for the company.

Pros

Loved the LXL management chain. Supportive, fun, progress-minded. The company as a whole was okay, but the department I was with made it amazing. Lots of opportunities to develop skills. Absolutely incredible visibility for diversity, which is celebrated and respected without hesitation.

Cons

Very high demand. Can be very challenging to learn how to balance work and breathing room without falling behind. Many other departments were quick to blame the LXL department in front of highly regarded stakeholders for failures that were not of our own. Pay also changes depending on the client you work with. My client was the highest paying client at the time I was employed. The LXLs working for the branch-off of work from my client were paid much more than I due to the intensity of the work. My pay was considered the cap for where I was, and getting a raise that was not just a few pennies was not going to happen. Moving up is possible but limited. Due to this company being a BPO, if the client no longer needs our work, we are liable to be laid off. Employees are not contracted, but TaskUs is contracted to the client. Layoffs are a possibility, be it near or far. I was laid off after 4 years and saw many waves of many sizes laid off while there.
