Pros

- Requesting time off is easy.

Cons

-Management does not communicate or explain the why behind decisions that impact teammates. -There is 0 empathy or concern inconveniencing teammates, for example tenured people who had their vacations planned, scheduled doctors appointments, or just life in general are told they need to cancel everything at the last second for training that gets planned and rescheduled without warning. -The "Work-life balance" saying is a joke where you're expected to accept additional trivial work while being paid the minimum. -There is no accountability for upper management, no matter how much advice they are given by the Frontline it is not listened to. -Management also openly provides incorrect information and doubles down when corrected and appears to make up information as they go along that suits their agenda. -There is 0 confidence even running through the proper channels to report said management. -People get laid off in great numbers while they advertise opening a new site, even though those people are work from home.

Pros

Loved the LXL management chain. Supportive, fun, progress-minded. The company as a whole was okay, but the department I was with made it amazing. Lots of opportunities to develop skills. Absolutely incredible visibility for diversity, which is celebrated and respected without hesitation.

Cons

Very high demand. Can be very challenging to learn how to balance work and breathing room without falling behind. Many other departments were quick to blame the LXL department in front of highly regarded stakeholders for failures that were not of our own. Pay also changes depending on the client you work with. My client was the highest paying client at the time I was employed. The LXLs working for the branch-off of work from my client were paid much more than I due to the intensity of the work. My pay was considered the cap for where I was, and getting a raise that was not just a few pennies was not going to happen. Moving up is possible but limited. Due to this company being a BPO, if the client no longer needs our work, we are liable to be laid off. Employees are not contracted, but TaskUs is contracted to the client. Layoffs are a possibility, be it near or far. I was laid off after 4 years and saw many waves of many sizes laid off while there.
