Pros

The teammates are amazing! I did learn a lot during my almost 4 years here.

Cons

TaskUs is not frontline first like they claim to be. They allow the clients to dictate who should be fired, even when the reason is unfounded, and who can move to a different campaign. A new campaign opened up, that paid $2 more per hour than my current pay. I wanted to switch, but was told I was too valuable to the client. Even though I am so "valuable" they couldn't bother to pay me more. Now my campaign will soon sunset, and there's nowhere for me to go. I have spent almost 4 years being an exemplary employee. I exceed expectations and always go beyond what is asked of me. All it's earned me is a $.34 raise. TaskUs in the US does not care about it's employees. They're more concerned with growing their sites outside of the US since it's so much cheaper.

Pros

Loved the LXL management chain. Supportive, fun, progress-minded. The company as a whole was okay, but the department I was with made it amazing. Lots of opportunities to develop skills. Absolutely incredible visibility for diversity, which is celebrated and respected without hesitation.

Cons

Very high demand. Can be very challenging to learn how to balance work and breathing room without falling behind. Many other departments were quick to blame the LXL department in front of highly regarded stakeholders for failures that were not of our own. Pay also changes depending on the client you work with. My client was the highest paying client at the time I was employed. The LXLs working for the branch-off of work from my client were paid much more than I due to the intensity of the work. My pay was considered the cap for where I was, and getting a raise that was not just a few pennies was not going to happen. Moving up is possible but limited. Due to this company being a BPO, if the client no longer needs our work, we are liable to be laid off. Employees are not contracted, but TaskUs is contracted to the client. Layoffs are a possibility, be it near or far. I was laid off after 4 years and saw many waves of many sizes laid off while there.
