Pros

- Supportive peers - Great place to enhance your skills - Minimum to no chance of working with toxic people/leaders - Considers feedback as a gift - Upholds culture and core values

Cons

- More work, no additional salary It's the only con I can think of as it's kind of a deal breaker for me. When I tried to resign, they asked me where would I go. I told them I'll work as CSR for an in-house campaign with a salary twice as I am earning. Lo and behold, they told me "you know that you can be paid much more than that with your position right now?". So my question is, why am I not being paid fairly for it? I am still employed to this company because I'm legit enjoying how this place is not toxic, but dear Lord. Pay us well.

Pros

Loved the LXL management chain. Supportive, fun, progress-minded. The company as a whole was okay, but the department I was with made it amazing. Lots of opportunities to develop skills. Absolutely incredible visibility for diversity, which is celebrated and respected without hesitation.

Cons

Very high demand. Can be very challenging to learn how to balance work and breathing room without falling behind. Many other departments were quick to blame the LXL department in front of highly regarded stakeholders for failures that were not of our own. Pay also changes depending on the client you work with. My client was the highest paying client at the time I was employed. The LXLs working for the branch-off of work from my client were paid much more than I due to the intensity of the work. My pay was considered the cap for where I was, and getting a raise that was not just a few pennies was not going to happen. Moving up is possible but limited. Due to this company being a BPO, if the client no longer needs our work, we are liable to be laid off. Employees are not contracted, but TaskUs is contracted to the client. Layoffs are a possibility, be it near or far. I was laid off after 4 years and saw many waves of many sizes laid off while there.
