Pros

The people at TaskUs are incredibly team oriented, which makes the long hours not only doable, but fun. Everyone is self-motivated to over deliver on their own projects for the benefit of the company as a whole, and pitch in wherever else is needed to help each other out. Leadership is understanding, flexible, and supportive of both professional and personal growth. Not many places you can lounge on the couch with your dog, crack a beer at 4pm, and enjoy catered lunches- while working with truly talented and fun people! They'll give you a professional development stipend as well for continued education, if you can find the time :)

Cons

"Do more with less" is one of our core values- and it's true. Sometimes the work piles up and there's so much to accomplish, with little bandwidth and time. Everyone is expected to make the necessary sacrifices to get it done, so it's up to you to self-manage and know what you need to do to make deadlines without burning out.

Pros

The Frontline First culture is unlike any other organization I have worked for. I feel like the CEO and other CSuite leaders are transparent and approachable. Solid leaders who clearly understand the needs of employees.

Cons

Like all companies there are opportunities to improve, so nothing really worth mentioning.

Pros

Loved the LXL management chain. Supportive, fun, progress-minded. The company as a whole was okay, but the department I was with made it amazing. Lots of opportunities to develop skills. Absolutely incredible visibility for diversity, which is celebrated and respected without hesitation.

Cons

Very high demand. Can be very challenging to learn how to balance work and breathing room without falling behind. Many other departments were quick to blame the LXL department in front of highly regarded stakeholders for failures that were not of our own. Pay also changes depending on the client you work with. My client was the highest paying client at the time I was employed. The LXLs working for the branch-off of work from my client were paid much more than I due to the intensity of the work. My pay was considered the cap for where I was, and getting a raise that was not just a few pennies was not going to happen. Moving up is possible but limited. Due to this company being a BPO, if the client no longer needs our work, we are liable to be laid off. Employees are not contracted, but TaskUs is contracted to the client. Layoffs are a possibility, be it near or far. I was laid off after 4 years and saw many waves of many sizes laid off while there.
