Pros

-competitive salary and performance incentives, but profit sharing has been significantly reduced -merits only gets you so far. if you're not in the right circle, your career will likely stay exactly where it is

Cons

- toxic work culturee, expected to handle an extremely high workload, -heavily output-driven environment, treat people like robots -leadership lacks clear direction, constant changes in priorities and poor planning -working on weekends became an expectation -no work-life balance, no ot paid -workplace politics. too much favoritism, promoting and hiring their own people -HR is ineffective and fails to protect the employees, - pulse survey are completed under pressure, honest feedback are not welcome, and we dont trust the company - leadership at the malaysia VP level lacked of strategy,. and long term planning.decisions influenced by internal politics or their own people, rather than best interests of employees

Pros

Fun coworkers. Above average PTO

Cons

Layoffs- Don't think you're safe. There's always one around the corner. The NVIDIA tide is lifting all boats now but don't be surprise when they start cutting once the bubble pops. They were happy to keep hiring during the COVID chip shortage.. Profit sharing keeps effectively getting cut. Wouldn't really mind if they didn't keep promoting it when recruiting talent. Ad hoc criteria for WFH (HR is always watching).
