The organization received new "leadership" in 2017 and since then staff has been a revolving door through most departments. The new CEO arrived with an agenda to make changes. Some changes made were necessary and needed. Rather than build on the foundation built by the previous CEO, he decided to disrupt and destroy that foundation and start over with no real plan.
Leadership from the CEO down through his remaining "yes men/women" managers is a joke. These managers show favoritism which contributes to the poor morale. Many employees just don't trust the CEO or his leadership team, with good reason.
It is so bad that over the last year, even a few of his cronies have abruptly abandoned ship.
The problems are expansive ranging from poor morale to constant staff shortages resulting in an over reliance on clinical "travellers". These "travelers" are expensive and some have been detrimental to hospital relationships. As others have also stated, there have also been legal issues since the new CEO took over.
Leadership's main focus over the past few years has been to build an extravagant office building. The PR Team is used to try to "blow smoke" by claiming the building is for "the people " of SC. That is a bad joke.
