The company is changing, core values are becoming less "core"

Pros

The ability to work with other cultures around the world is one of the best. You don't have to travel to get involved, and great people are found everywhere.

Cons

The dual bottom line philosophy is quickly becoming an after-thought. several structural changes have been made recently, and the opinions of few outweigh actual performance, or peer feedback. It is becoming clear that while they promote authenticity and accountability, the people who actually say what they are seeing are quickly suppressed, and moved into other roles or out of the company. It is a complete 180 degree turn from just two years ago. It is likely to continue with the new COO position. If you are a "yes-man/woman" no need to worry though.

Pros

Hands on work - fast paced environment. Extremely diverse businesses provide a true conglomerate with exposure to many countries, industries and processes. I have read a lot of reviews that seem to focus on small disgruntled issues. Work hard at EnPro and your work will be appreciated. If you want to learn new things in an international public company environment - this is it.

Cons

Underinvested in IT. Too many disparate ERP systems. IT decisions made without consideration of those who would actually be using the systems. Senior management likes to avoid conflict at all costs - this leaves problems unsolved and employees frustrated at a lack of leadership.
