Pros

The hours during the high oil prices The group of workers that become family over time The chance to improve on your skill set and grow Paid lunch while on night shift - changed in 2014

Cons

Management - Some are just bullies (meaning ripping your doc excuse right in front of your face) Write up for every little thing if you're not on their butt kissing side (being on the phone while not on shop floor, not following a procedure not shared to the group) Leadman only worries about their core group instead of being a brothers keeper that safety and Hr promotes

Pros

Good people Learn a lot That’s about it

Cons

Layoffs when oil is not do so great. There isn’t an emphasis on retention of talent. Company lost a lot of talent during Covid but seems to overhire when oil is up. Would stay away from the comp engr division. Management is simply cutthroat and do not care about the engineers that work there. No opportunities for growth
