Pros

-Product: Work is meaningful! Our product is focused on simplifying the lives of residents around the world and supporting them in some of life's biggest moments. -Stability: The company is financially stable -Team: My co-workers are the very best! I love having a hybrid work environment to be in the office with them and the flexibility to work from home too. -Career growth: Global company providing me with great experience + a recent acquisition which I've been able to be part of. I've learned and experienced more in the last 3 years at Entrata than I have in my entire career leading up to this!

Cons

-Change: In the last 3 years Entrata has become a new company it feels like. We brought on a new executive team which has led to a lot of cultural change + accepted our first round of funding + invested in people and systems + completed our first acquisition, etc. There has been a lot of change which has caused friction in some areas but to be honest.. this was all expected and people who are considering a move to Entrata right now should know that you'll need to be agile/open to change and have a high level of ambition, the ability to execute to be successful.

Pretty Good

Pros

Pay and benefits are stellar. The CEO is a really cool guy to work for and they've brought in a lot of star players to innovate the product to what it needs to be. Shout outs and compliments for work occur fairly often.

Cons

In some of the products there are highly unqualified individuals holding managerial roles. This becomes frustrating having to report to someone who has no idea what you're doing or the value of your work. Product also doesn't do a great job at understanding customers needs and matching that with what engineering can build to solve it. A lot of times I've been told we need to drop everything and build something ASAP solely because our competitors have it, even if it brings no value to our customers and requires an incredible amount of engineering work.

Abysmal Pay

Pros

Good culture, at least in our department. More company-wide inclusivity. My position has good job security, although for the first time in the years I've been here, I'm starting to doubt it will last much longer.

Cons

Terrible pay, especially for hourly workers. Salary positions have gotten more benefits over the years while hourly positions still don't even have paid holidays. Team has been shortened with no intention to backfill. There is a new merit-based wage raise system supposed to be implemented this year, but raises have been pushed back for months, and, despite my improvement in performance, I have no reason to trust our raises will be anything remotely improved in contrast to this position's historical and grossly inadequate 3%. Despite all this, they want a 33% increase in efficiency.
