Pros

“Freedom” to do whatever projects you want because management is pretty hands off; News dept doesn’t follow strict ‘sweeps’ culture

Cons

> Unethical journalistic practices (notice most of the “news” has sponsored content) > Upper management will nickel and dime employees’ meager salaries and rarely approve raises; Entravision is CHEAP > When employees are finally making a decent salary or wage, there’s a target on their back because Entravision is cheap and wants them off the payroll. They’ll look for any excuse to get rid of them. > Benefits packages are bottom of the barrel > Good employees are overworked > Since NBC Palm Springs is the only English speaking affiliate, there’s no upward mobility within the company > Severely understaffed newsroom because company won’t pay wages to live in California > upper management will do anything to save a dollar and has no desire to get to know employees. You are a means to an end.

Pros

Fellow employees were fun to work with

Cons

Getting a raise was nearly impossible and if you managed to get a raise it was a few cents. Forced to do multiple jobs without getting any compensation for all the extra work. Mentality of the company was "you should be thankful you have a job".

Pros

It is a stable job, if you your tasks and what they ask from you, you'll forever have a job.

Cons

They overwork you. The management is very out of touch with employees and always expect you to be doing everything, I mean everything for them.
